Emmett O’Connell, KSG Chairman and CEO

Irish-American businessman Emmett O’Connell has been a promoter and investor of technology and exploration companies for over 30 years. He has been involved in a number of highly successful public and private companies quoted on the London, Dublin and Vancouver Stock Exchanges.

Included amongst the public companies in which Emmett has acted as founder/director have been Eglington Exploration plc now Aminex plc, Osceola Hydrocarbons plc and Bryson Oil and Gas plc, which have all traded on the Dublin and London Stock Exchanges. These companies were consistently listed amongst the most actively traded shares in Dublin and London between 1982 and 1986. He was also the founder of Texas Continental Securities plc which acted as an incubator for the introduction of smaller companies to the stock exchange. Was initial promoter and investor in the following:

Nial Ring FCCA, Non-Executive Independent Director

Nial Ring has a background in the financial services industry in Dublin, London and New York with both Allied Irish Bank plc and Bankgesellschaft, Berlin. In 1992 he set up Barrick Capital Corporation, the IFSC based subsidiary of Barrick Gold, and was General Manager of this company from 1992 to 1995. He is now involved in several start-up companies both as an investor and in advisory/consultancy roles. He is also a government appointed Director to IDA Ireland and is Chairman of its Investment Committee and was a former Chairman of its Audit & Finance Committee. He is also involved at directorship and management committee level in several community based organisations.

Nial is an honours graduate in Accounting & Finance (BA) from Dublin City University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Licenciate of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, and was also awarded the diploma in Financial Services Law from University College Dublin.

Liam McGrattan, Investor Relations Director

Liam has a background in sales and finance, and successfully launched Custom Finance Ltd., a specialist leasing company. He has specialised in the Small-Cap Equities Market for the last ten years. Liam has been involved in a number of highly successful private and publicly quoted companies on the Ofex market and the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. He is presently Managing Director of Wilhan Limited, an international private investment company. Liam studied French and Swedish at University College Dublin.

Melvyn Quiller, Executive Director

Melvyn Quiller is a qualified mechanical engineer and spent a substantial part of his career working with a major British construction company "600 Group plc" in communication and transport related projects throughout Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He was appointed Managing Director of the Overseas Project division of the Group in 1979 and held the position for 9 years. In 1997 he was appointed to the Board of Russian Telecommunications Network ("RTN"), a Russian Company operating satellite and terrestrial networks for national and international voice and data communications, from which he has now resigned. Melvyn joined Great Western Mining Corporation plc at its inception.

Robert O’Connell, Operations Director

Robert O’Connell graduated from Texas Christian University (1992) in History and Geology. He has 10 years experience drilling for oil and gas in Texas, Oklahoma and Indiana. For the last two years he has lead the research team in the search for data regarding the Mineral County Prospect in Nevada.
